This website showcases works I have done and the thought process behind each of them. By using different tools and principles to enhance my creative work, I am able to create comprehensive designs to spaces.

Rings, Transitional Shelter for the homeless

In order to promote growth between each resident, mainly the elderly as an individual as well as a community, the space will be designed to encourage connectivity and support throughout it. This will be done through the use of tree rings which signifies self improvement and strength. Rhythm and Hierarchy will be incorporated into the design.

My concept revolves around the philosophy of tree rings. In which they represent personal growth and resilience. I have decided to incorporate the ring sections into the space planning by subdividing the space into 4 different parts based on the level of privacy. These tree rings are represented in different ways- as a full-height wall, a shorter wall, fittings/furniture and lastly, visually on the floor.
